Whales can't tell us about the changing oceans, moose don't understand crosswalks, and bears are definitely not welcome at town hall meetings. Founded in 1978, the Alaska Wildlife Alliance gives a local voice to Alaska’s wildlife by advocating for healthy ecosystems across the state. Every year, we host a Hibernation Celebration fundraiser to build support for our wildlife conservation programs across the state.
When: October 25, 2024 - Doors Open at 6PM
Where: Matanuska Brewing Company, Anchorage Location
2830 C St, Anchorage, AK 99503
This year, our celebration includes an evening of food and drink, as well as an amazing silent auction and a brief presentation on AWA’s work this year! Starting at 9pm, there will be a benefit concert with live music from the Jangle Bees and a wildlife costume contest (winner gets free beer for a year from Matanuska!) for all ticketed attendees.
Join us for the chance to win great prizes, and check back often as our prize and auction list grows. We’ll update them here. All funds support Alaska Wildlife Alliance's wildlife conservation programs across the state. We can’t wait to celebrate Alaska’s wildlife with you!
tickets are required for the benefit concert, starting at 9PM.
