SEABIRDS and MARINE MAMMALS in an ICE-FREE ALASKA with Dr. DONNA HAUSER, Dr. JANET DUFFY-ANDERSON, and Dr. TIMOTHY JONES from 4 to 6pm at the UAA Campus Bookstore. Guest speakers from the Alaska Marine Science Symposium explain their findings concerning the ramifications of an Ice-Free Alaska.

-Donna Hauser, International Arctic Research Center, University of Alaska Fairbanks, presents "Responses, Risks, and Resilience of Alaska's Arctic Marine Mammals in a Changing Climate".

-Timothy Jones, Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team, University of Washington, examines “Seabird Mortality Deaths in the Bering Sea”.

-Janet Duffy-Anderson, NOAA/Alaska Fisheries Science Center Recruitment Processes Program

-Ecosystems and Fisheries Oceanography Coordinated Investigations, discusses “Changes in the Bering Sea Ecosystem: What an Ice-Free Winter May Mean”.
