How do scientists keep track of individual whales? Learn about the technique of photo-identification and how you can help contribute to whale research.

Emma Luck is an Alaska-based marine naturalist and wildlife photographer. She holds a marine biology degree from the University of Alaska Southeast and has worked on research projects with humpback whales and killer whales in Alaska and Norway.
