2022-2023 Free Science Lecture Series

JOIN US ON SELECT SECOND WEDNESDAYS FROM OCTOBER THROUGH APRIL FOR A WILDLIFE-FOCUSED TALK IN THE ZOO GATEWAY HALL.

We are pleased to host the in-person return of the Wildlife Wednesdays Free Science Lecture Series at the Alaska Zoo Gateway Hall! Stay warm and enrich your knowledge of the ways of Alaska's wildlife.

Join us this winter on select second Wednesdays from October through April in the Alaska Zoo Gateway Hall (no lecture in December). Each talk begins at 7pm and covers a topic focused on wildlife of the Great Land - Alaska. The talks are approximately 45 minutes with questions and answers. Lectures are FREE to the public. Coffee, tea and cookies will be available. There are door prizes too!

The first lecture of the season will be held at the Zoo Gateway Hall at 7pm on Wednesday, October 12th. See below for lecture information. We will have our full schedule published to this page soon!
