We’re looking for volunteers to help us and the @kenaiwatershedforum at seasonal Dipnet Booths!
Each summer, the Kenai Watershed Forum hosts volunteer-staffed dipnet information booths at the Kenai and Kasilof beaches during the dipnet season to help educate dipnetters on regulations, emergency orders, fish ID, how to keep the beach cleanup and health, and invasive species. This year, AWA has partnered with the Kenai Watershed Forum to help spread awareness about belugas in the Kenai and Kasilof rivers! We’re looking for volunteers to help us chat with dipnetters, patrol the beaches, and pick up litter.
Interested in volunteering but don't know anything about the Dipnet Booth? No need to fret! Kenai Watershed Forum staff or an experienced volunteer will gladly join you for your first shift.
