Save a Bear, Eat a Free Donut

  • Dipper Donuts 1209 West 36th Avenue Anchorage, AK, 99503 United States (map)

Join us to support wildlife and get a FREE DONUT, with entry to win FREE PRIZES!

The National Park Service is accepting public comments on a rule change that would allow the following, among other extreme practices, in National Preserves in Alaska:

– Baiting grizzly bears with grease-soaked donuts
– Crawling into dens and shooting hibernating black bears, including sows with cubs
– Trapping wolves during denning season

Join the Alaska Wildlife Alliance, Defenders of Wildlife, and the National Parks Conservation Association for letters & donuts & bears, oh my! Together, we’re sending a message to #donutbaitbearsNPS.

Bring proof of your comment on the proposed rule change, or draft one with us from 9am-11am on Nov 3rd to receive a FREE DONUT from Dipper Donuts and be entered to win FREE PRIZES. Friends and family are welcome to learn more about the rule change, support Alaska’s wildlife, celebrate local business, and satiate your sweet tooth. See you there!
