Programs Overview

Alaska is the last great American wilderness. In this last frontier, opportunities to experience natural landscapes and wildlife entice people from all over the world to visit our state with the hopes of seeing our iconic scenes. However, unsustainable management practices that favor profits over nature threaten our most cherished wildlife species and ecosystems. Alaska is the last home to numerous endangered and critically threatened species, such as beluga whales and polar bears. It is our duty to preserve Alaska’s natural wildlife for its intrinsic value, as well as for the benefit of present and future generations. To do this, Alaska Wildlife Alliance focuses its efforts on three main programs:

Voices for wildlife

CONSERVATION COALITIONS

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
