Monitoring for Cook Inlet Belugas Ends

Want to help protect wildlife and become involved in citizen science? Help us learn more about the critically endangered Cook Inlet beluga whales by monitoring for the Alaska Beluga Monitoring Partnership (AKBMP)! The spring season comes to a close on May 15th, 2022 for the Kenai and Kasilof River monitoring sites, but monitoring will resume in the fall. The Kenai and Kasilof River sites are co-hosted by Alaska Wildlife Alliance and the Kenai Peninsula College.
