As many of you know, in January the Alaska Board of Game passed Proposal 75, which will allow for aerial gunning of black and brown bears and wolves via helicopters in Unit 16, between Denali National Park and Preserve and Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. In this podcast, Nicole discusses what predator control is and how it affects Alaska’s wildlife, how the research demonstrates that this management strategy has previously failed, and how AWA is advocating for Alaska’s bears and wolves.
