Anne Coray will talk about her personal history with the Bristol Bay area and share excerpts from her debut novel, a love story set in a remote, fictional artists’ community in Southwest Alaska and inspired by the Pebble Mine project.
Anne Coray’s debut novel Lost Mountain will be published in March, 2021 with West Margin Press. Author of three poetry collections and coeditor of Crosscurrents North: Alaskans on the Environment, Coray is the recipient of fellowships from the Alaska State Council on the Arts and the Rasmuson Foundation.
The event was hosted by Alaska Wildlife Alliance, Defenders of Wildlife, and Friends of McNeil River.
